Upon returning from school, I began working at an Inpatient Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health treatment program and then again with outpatient MAT. Following my relocation to Florida in 2023, I began working again in MAT. (I love recovery!)

Get to Know Me
Why did you become a therapist?
I have known for as long as I can remember that I have wanted to work in a capacity that would allow me to help others. Growing up in a very rural area, I was able to witness and experience that there are limited opportunities to access compassionate and effective mental health care. This sparked my dream to have a mental health counseling private practice.
When I moved to Florida in 2023, it opened my eyes to the fact that this is not uniquely a rural-area/small-town problem. Accessible counseling services are limited and difficult to access everywhere.
My goal as a mental health therapist is to serve the community by providing an open, welcoming, and accepting counseling space, free of judgement and shame.
I strive to provide effective care that you understand. Transparency is at the cornerstone of my practice. From treatment policies to cost to understanding your treatment plan; I will make sure you understand every step. I want you to be a collaborative player in your treatment, we will develop your treatment plan together and work on the goals that you feel are important in your life.

What is one lesson you would want any person to learn from therapy?
You are much stronger than you believe! You deserve a life that makes you happy and you are capable of making your life anything you want it to be.

Where can we find you when you’re not in the office?
When I am at home, you can find me painting, reading, playing Stardew Valley, or spending time with my two golden retriever puppies and the three cats who relocated to Florida with me! Outside of the house, you can find me spending time around the town, at the pool, beach-side, or with the puppies on the local hiking trails!
